Early example of a classic georgian style ring. The reeded back detail indicates the year of manufacture to be 1780 or earlier. The entirely of the ring is in yellow gold save for the silver fleur-de-lis details flanking the center stone. It is quite rare to find an emerald of this size in such an early ring. This stone exhibits internal inclusions distinct to the Ural Mountains of Russia.
