Georgian era diamond memorial pendant. It has a mix of 9 early table cut diamonds and 5 rose cut diamonds, all in silver topped gold settings. Sometime in this jewels 240 year history it was converted into this simple pendant. It was likely originally part of a larger pendant or ring. English in origin. Circa 1780.
For hundreds of years the urn has been a common motif in mourning jewelry. It will make a beautiful wearable and modern remembrance piece.
