Lovely Georgian era sentimental ring. 6 rose cut diamonds form a forget-me-not flower clasped by two hands. Hands were often used in the 19th century as symbols of friendship and affection. Along with the forget-me-not flower, this ring would have been given as a token of enduring friendship and love. in 15 karat or higher gold.
There was originally a locket compartment concealed in the reverse of this ring. The original glass has been lost with time.
