Extremely scarce silesian iron work bracelet made in Silesia/Prussia. Circa 1790/1805
Silesian Iron Work dates to the late 1700’s. It is thought the latest pieces were completed by 1805 when production of iron work moved to Berlin and evolved in style. The stark gray wire is finely woven like lace and light as air.
The fine condition adds to the rarity of this piece. Many generations took great care to keep it free of rust over the past 200+ years.
