A late 19th-century bangle bracelet with large garnet cabochon stones and old mine cut diamonds. The bold design uses deep-colored carbuncle stones in a flame or crown pattern. The fourteen old mine cut diamonds provide points of light between the dark garnets. The bracelet is made in 18k gold and has approximately 2.5 carats of total diamond weight. English in origin. Circa 1860.
