Late 18th century carved bloodstone intaglio ring, in gold setting. The intaglio is an earlier, 17th century carving set in the collectors mount sometime in the early 1800’s. This oversized ring would be perfect for a gentleman or a pointer finger ring. English in origin, however came from a Swiss collector.
Size 8, cannot be resized.
