19th century articulated gold snake ring. Masterfully crafted with seven hinged sections that twist and curve around the finger. The ring is a rare find and remains in exceptional condition. A remarkably similar piece, seemingly by the same craftsman, is featured in the book Serpentina and displayed at the German jewelry museum in Pforheim. Greman in origin. Circa 1850.
