One of our signature designs. Each ring features a unique collection of slightly graduated antique diamonds. It often takes months to collect a suite of stones in matched size, color, and clarity. This ring features eleven turn-of-the-century, old mine cut diamonds, 2+ carats in total diamond weight, approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity.
This design is inspired by a labor-intensive setting technique common in 18th and 19th century rings. The silver-on-gold technique is true to the rings that inspired this design and are rarely seen in modern jewelry.
Handmade in our Texas workshop, this ring is silver-topped gold, in our custom blend of 18K rose gold. A more subdued, darker tone than commercially available rose gold. We call this color “old gold” and created the alloy in the spirit of the many 19th century rings we have handled. We have applied a treatment to darken the gold and silver, giving a dark tone to the settings.
Price will vary with a client’s center diamond choices. Make an inquiry to discuss your budget and what stone availability. It sometimes takes several months to gather a perfectly matched setup of antique stones.
